Pregnancy wreaks HAVOC on a woman’s body

And when the little ball of cute is finally out,
Many women, after taking a few months to recover,
Want to start their transformation to get back to pre-baby weight

I was shocked when I saw them

You need to lift weights to build a bigger engine and keep your metabolism pumping.
You cannot ever outwork your nutrition…ever!
By substituting high calorie foods with high volume foods,
You can balance your weight, but remain full and content.
But you have to have a calorie consciousness to apply that.
Whether man or women, pregnant or not,

I remember when I started coaching as a side hustle
I had this constant voice in the back of my mind saying
‘𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘦?’
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲
My physique was nowhere near close to theirs
I don’t have a shredded 6-pack
I’d never been on stage competing,
I certainly wasn’t insta-famous,
And some of the highly technical lifting stuff they were talking about on socials
Made me feel dumb in comparison
𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞,

So, I played it safe,
I stayed inside my shell
And I do what most guys do…
Keep working hard and hope that one day,
Things might be different
Things never became different because I did nothing different
But when I invested in a coach,

And that this was the reality of death.
But in this hard fact,
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝
If no one thought twice about Betty,
𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞!

Now when you are consuming less calories than you need,
Your body will lose fat,

Is making sure that your baseline level of activity stays high,
So you get bang for buck out of eating less calories.

𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀!
Cooked the right way,
Foods like fish, chicken, turkey and pork
Provide the body with a tonne of protein but without all the extra calories.
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴:
1. Protein fills you up making you less likely to snack on processed, high calorie junk in between meals
2. Protein is the building block of muscle. If you want to build a strong house, best not run out of bricks during the build, right?
So many programs focus on exercising your way to fat loss
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁… 𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗗𝗨𝗠𝗕
If you want to lose the belly,
You need a simple plan to fuel your body
Based around foods you like,
That never feels like dieting.

IN A JAIL OF MUNDANE
Nothing was bad enough to make me change,
Nothing was extreme enough to jolt me into living
Counting down to the weekend,

We wait for something outside of us to change us
And it never comes, so we keep waiting
Tomorrow…

We get pissed off because we’re chasing ‘happy’
And then annoyed at our partner when they don’t make us happy

Trying to convince yourself that you should be grateful for the things you have
And feeling guilty when you’re not
Because you know you’re capable of so much more
That the world could be your oyster

As comfortable as it might be,
It’s a jail of mundane

❌ You’re happy to spend money on drinking, Netflix and shopping but not on a coaching program that will change your life if you embrace it.

9️⃣ Thou shalt love and support his/her fellow brother or sister at all times

If you love the idea of being the sexiest ma’fucking 70-year old in the gym
Or the person that, through their energy and self-confidence,
Becomes the world’s best partner or parent,

I WANT TO KEEP UP WITH MY KIDS
It’s the number one reason I hear,
When people apply for our program
And although it’s ABOUT your kids,
I’d argue it’s no exclusively FOR your kids
That you want to be able to keep up.
As a parent,

Perhaps better than you had?
And yes, that’s about them

We’re told that we should not regret anything,

I’m not hung up over the things,
I just wish I could turn back time…
